Jason is a writer, podcaster, semi-retired ultrarunner, recreational pro MMA fighter, occasional teacher, and running coach living in the San Diego area. Jason's goal in life is to seek out interesting adventures, push boundaries, and help others do the same. 

Jason is a serial hobbyist with a wide range of interests which has led to a series of weird adventures such as spending two years traveling the United States in an RV with his family, running a 54 mile race without shoes, publishing six books, and (probably) becoming the first person to finish a 100 mile foot race and win a professional mixed martial arts fight.
